MARCH /APRIL 2019: CELEBRATION OF READING SESSIONS

Prepare a short (5-10 min.) ORAL PRESENTATION (OP) about the book (s) or short story/ies you have read. You can book a date with the teacher. If you have printed materials to share with the class bring them the day before your OP.

Ideas for the OP (use ONE or SEVERAL ideas):
Ø  the main events in the story (but please do not include spoilers, your classmates might want to read the book)
Ø  nonfiction books: summary of the main ideas and if you agree with the author
Ø  main characters/ your favourite character
Ø  your favourite chapter
Ø  read your favourite quotes + comment on them in the book context
Ø  why you liked it and why the other students should read it
Ø  a criticism (only if you didn´t like some aspects)
Ø  compare the book and the film

You can also:
- Write a BOOK REVIEW (see models on the class blog) to hand over to the teacher (deadline to be set later).
- Instead of a book review you can write a FILM REVIEW of a film you have seen in English
- The BEST REVIEWS will be posted on this blog
